Field Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Oversee all phases of concrete foundation projects from initial site survey to final inspection.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate foundation plans with overall construction goals.
  • Foundation Layout and Elevation Setting:
  • Conduct precise layout and elevation setting using advanced surveying tools (GPS, total station, transits, laser levels).
  • Ensure foundations are set accurately according to design specifications and building codes.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

Team Management:


  • Lead and manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a culture of safety and professional development.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing project updates.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, budget reports, and project documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete foundation construction and with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in laying out foundations and setting elevations using advanced surveying tools.

Skills:


  • Proficient in the use of GPS, total station, transits, laser levels, and other surveying equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
