Description
Our company is seeking a professional Freight Broker to join our team. The Freight Broker will be directly involved with onboarding shippers and carriers, negotiating contracts, and tracking and scheduling shipments.


Responsibilities:


  • Prospect for new shippers.
  • Source carriers and providers.
  • Book your customers shipments in our TMS, track the delivery, and coordinate with carriers.
  • Maintain relationships with shippers.

Requirements:


  • Own an active book of business.
  • Expert in the full freight brokerage cycle (5 years minimum).
  • Work independently.
Pay Structure

  • Commission based
  • No base salary
  • Commission are paid at 70% of margin

Salary:
$72,222.00-$143,611.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Freight Brokerage: 5 years (required)
