We have an exciting new opportunity available, as we are seeking an
Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time) to join our team In this role you would you would provide financial, administrative and clerical services regarding Accounts Payable.

We are located at
8271 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario

Responsibilities:

Receive and verify invoices and PO/Requisitions for goods and services; validate that goods have been received and that proper prices have been invoices in accordance with PO
Verify that transactions comply with Clover Tool's financial policies and procedures
Sort and match invoices; validate vendor statements and inquiries, investigates discrepancies, communicates with vendors and internal personnel to process invoices
Prepare batches of invoices for data entry; ensure proper cost allocation within General Ledger
Process check requests; prepare and process accounts payable checks weekly
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Maintain updated vendor files
Produce monthly reports
Assist in month end closing
Yearend processing of accruals and preparation of various schedules
Forward any faxes, mail or other correspondence to the appropriate person
Support other accounting team members
Knowledge and understanding of relevant customer specific requirements

Requirements:

Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
Secondary School diploma required.
Post-Secondary Business Administration
Minimum 1 year experience in similar position in manufacturing environment.
Must have demonstrated ability to research and interpret data.
Working knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Excellent communication skills.
Must be capable of working in a windows based environment.
