Surveyor (Kearl) - Fort McMurray, Canada - North American Construction Group Inc.

Position Scope:
NACG is looking for a Surveyor to work at our Kearl location. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
Site:
Kearl
Schedule: 14x14- 12 hours (paid for 11.5 hours)
Accommodations:
Camp provided
Transportation:
Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)
Overtime:
Currently at Kearl they have blended rates with no overtime
Hourly Rate:
Up to $55.70 per hour
Daily Attraction Bonus:
Kearl is offering a daily attraction bonus for days worked at $60/day
Kearl Advantage:
Kearl is offering a travel allowance per rotation. Amount determined based on location. Travel allowances will be paid to/from location.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in survey party chief role
- Must be skilled in unsupervised use of RTK GPS and Total station, and 3D scanners
- Must be proficient with construction staking (roads, corridors, piping, slopes, etc) and asbuilt/topographic surveys
- Experience with Trimble survey equipment considered an asset
- Experience with volume calculation and design calculations in AutoCAD considered an asset.
- Transport Canada RPAS (Drone) license along with experience flying multirotor drones will be considered an asset
Summary:
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Have experience as requested as mentioned above
- Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- FitnesstoWork Assessment
- Audiometric Testing
- Vision Screening
- Criminal Record Check
- CSO Certification
- Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Copy of recent Driver's Abstract
- VOID cheque/direct deposit form
