We are looking for 2 enthusiastic
Human Resources (HR) Program Coordinators to support various corporate level HR Programs. The Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of integrity, excellence, respect and creativity.

There are currently two role assignments as follows:

1.HR Program Coordinator, Talent Programs


Reporting to the Manager of Talent Programs, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and support the NRC's corporate-level talent programs, systems and tools.

In partnership with another coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination and administration of programs, processes, and records management for various talent programs, including:
recruitment and mobility, leadership & learning, & talent management.


2. HR Program Coordinator, Workplace Programs


Reporting to the Manager of Workplace Programs, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of HR practitioners working to advance equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), official languages (OL) and wellness in the workplace.


You will support the delivery of the NRC's workplace programs through the administration of activities including process coordination, data management and reporting on EDI, OL, wellness trends, and overall management of program infrastructure.

Activities will include the development and maintenance of tools and procedures, preparing reports, providing secretariat support, and acting as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders and processes.

The position also actively support projects, key initiatives and action plans related to NRC's Workplace programs.

Experience:


  • Significant and recent experience in providing a wide range of administrative services to clients.
  • Significant experience in coordinating logístical support of internal activities such as events and meetings, including virtual meetings and events.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience with document management and reporting processes i.e. tracking, consolidating content, data entry, data manipulation, development of reports and analysis and drafting for reporting purposes.
  • Experience with SAP or HR management systems
  • Experience in researching and interpreting policies to provide advice and guidance.

  • Solid knowledge and ability to administer, review and evaluate administrative practices and processes and to propose and implement recommendations to ensure continuous improvement and administrative efficiency.
  • Ability to research and analyze data and prepare various reports and statistical analyses in support of program activity.
  • Ability to use MS Excel proficiently to create, maintain and manipulate reports.
  • Knowledge of EDI and OL programs (for HR Program Coordinator, Workplace Programs position)

Competency Profile(s):


Relocation:

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.


Compensation:

From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.

  • A prequalified list may be established for similar positions for a one year period.
  • The incumbent must adhere to safe workplace practices at all times.

  • A written examination may be administered.
  • As an added bonus, NRC employees receive an additional week off at the end of December. NRC shuts down between the 24th of December and the 1st of January. Employees are paid for this time, but make up the hours during the year.
