Parker Canada is hiring a permanent full-time
Hose Assembler (Day Shift 6:00 am -2:30 pm) in our Hose Assembly department at
our Milton location.

Assembling:

Visually verify that provided materials match the work order
Set up hose in a saw, cut and air flush the hose
Insert and crimp fittings
Label, cap and install any accessories on assemblies, per the customer order
Conduct pressure testing when required by the customer
100% visual inspection to ensure Parker quality standards are met
Tracking hourly production data
Participating in team meetings and problem solving
Abiding by company and/or regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations as it pertains to the job i.e. Employee Handbook, Health & Safety Policy, WHMIS, Code of Ethics,etc.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of high school diploma or postsecondary education
Previous experience in a similar role would be an asset
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
Knowledge of hose fittings and assembly procedures would be an asset
Knowledge of ISO procedures, Lean, 5S + S
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
