Our Maintenance team is customer focused, working in a fast-paced environment, and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a Stores Attendant to join our Maintenance team on the day shift. If you are customer service focused, being highly organized, we invite you to apply. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift

In this role, you will be responsible to:

Provide customer service to departments and individuals throughout Loewen
Manage inventory including cycle counts, reorders, identifying obsolete stock
Categorize new inventory items, creating item numbers, and assigning locations
Receive material and ensure that shelves are stocked
Create and review purchase orders
Conduct local pickups
Track and contact vendors for late Purchase Orders
Track propane tanks
Provide backup for the Maintenance Coordinator
Other related duties as required

You will bring:

Ability to work independently within a team focused environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
Computer knowledge
Valid driver's license
Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently, with the ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
