Jaguar Land Rover Toronto- a division of Grand Touring Automobiles needs an Assistant Parts Manager. This is the perfect opportunity for a seasoned Parts Specialist to take their career to the next level.
The Assistant Parts Manager will assist the Parts Manager in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Parts Department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints
- Assist the Parts Manager in supervising employees engaged in sales, inventory taking, or in performing services for customers
- Assist the Parts Manager in basic human resources duties such as advancement, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures
- Enforce safety, health, and security rules
- Assist parts front and back counter persons with customers and mechanics
- Keep informed of new products
- Complete training requirements for the parts department
- Attend scheduled parts meetings
- Review stock aging report for returns of obsolete parts
- Submit parts orders for emergency and special orders
- Post parts received into inventory
- Prepare claims for damaged parts and shortage of parts
Requirements:
- Previous Parts experience
- Previous Luxury Automotive experience preferred
- Working knowledge of CDK (Formally ADP) software
- Prior management experience preferred
- Proven attendance and punctuality track record
- Solid work ethic
- Selfmotivation

Experience:
- Automotive: 5 years (preferred)
- CDK Software: 3 years (preferred)
