Job Description:

Qualifications Required

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in total rewards, ideally in a unionized setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS). Experience with Workday is considered an asset.
  • Experience with administering compensation programs, including annual salary reviews. Experience in a postsecondary institution is preferred.
  • Experience with supporting, interpreting, and administering extended health, dental, and disability benefit plans.
  • Experience with the College Pension Plan or Municipal Pension Plan is considered an asset.
Skills & Abilities

  • Aptitude to learn complex total rewards programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform complex work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, and providing information regarding benefits provisions or processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and able to meet deadlines and work with frequent interruptions.

$ $62.38 per hour


Pay Grade:
Admin Paygrade 09

Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers' Council Secretariat (PSEC).
