The Facilities Custodian is responsible for ensuring the agency building, vehicle and property are maintained in a clean and organized order.

Works with the Residential Operations Coordinator (ROC) to identify areas of need, including regularly scheduled tasks, and unscheduled daily tasks.
Cleans, organizes, identifies hazards and maintains the condition of the building and property. May be assigned to complete light maintenance activities.Operates within established systems to ensure task completion, including the adherence to agency Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) and health & safety procedures.

JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Administrative Responsibility
Recording work in existing cleaning tracking systems. Adheres to agency cleaning schedule and tracking completion of tasks. Communicating with ROC to ensure adequate supplies necessary for the role and for daily needs of staff and clients.
Facilities, Equipment and Materials
Cleans, organizes, and maintains the condition of the building and property, including daily cleaning and organization tasks. Is proactive in addressing identified areas of need related to the building and property.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

- CPR/first aid certification is an asset.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 20 lbs.

Salary:
From $19.23 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
