With responsibility for leading and improving a disciplined sales process to achieve the growth plan and established sales targets, the General Manager Sales will act as a mentor to coach and develop direct sales team ensuring the use of a disciplined approach to the sales process.

This role requires someone who is knowledgeable and experienced with direct sales of high value capital equipment. Husky does not operate with agents or distributors in. All business is 100% derived from direct sales.

The countries falling under the responsibilities of this role are:
Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Israel, Belgium and Luxembourg. The role included six direct reports to be managed remotely.


This role can be either located in our European headquarters in Dudelange, Luxembourg. Or can be located via home office from Italy, France, Spain or Portugal.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute longterm strategy for the region
  • Build a deep understanding of customers' business objectives to best position client solutions, products & services
  • Deliver top customer value and differentiate Husky as a trusted partner
  • Build business plans to achieve new customer acquisition and retention objectives and deliver growth and customer satisfaction across new & existing customer base
  • Use a disciplined, strategic approach to deepening customer relationships and developing new customers
  • Identify risks to achieving targets, develop and execute mitigation plans
  • Develop, motivate and engage team members to drive higher performance levels and deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Proven ability to proficiently analyze, and close growth opportunities
  • Transfer critical selling skills to team members
  • Deliver a customer experience that reflects the company's "we deliver" commitments and demonstrate the brand to ensure clients are well known and respected over competitors
  • Identify, plan and execute on process improvement plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team
  • Drive and support team efforts at all phases of the sales process to ensure achievement of revenue and sales growth

Key Success Metrics:

  • Actively manage and meet/exceed growth plan commitments and achieve established targets on sales, orders, pricing, mix, ratability and new accounts, for the year with a focus on breakthrough results for the year with a focus on breakthrough results
