LOCATION:
230 Hanlon Creek Blvd Guelph, ON





SHIFT SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm





PAY RATE:
$19-21/hr


SUMMARY:


The Operations Team Member, reporting into the Operations Care Center Manager, is responsible for various activities ranging from operation of the retort, creating and packaging paw prints, engraving plaques and memorial items.

The position works with a close-knit team within a care center.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of daily duties such as; engraving plaques and memorial items, quality control, and processing orders of specialty items.
  • Maintain daily engraving goals, producing specialty item with an emphasis on accuracy and excellence.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure the process is working properly, making adjustments as needed and submits maintenance requests.
  • Keep track of inventory needed and ordering for specialty items needed.
  • Help with inventory loading and unloading as needed.
  • Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Follow safety procedures to protect themselves and others from exposure to hazardous materials or dust particles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with engraving machinery or similar equipment is preferred
  • Experience in a detailed orientated positions where accuracy is vital

Working Conditions

  • Regularly bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion, hand/wrist/finger motion
  • Regular lifting/moving 50+ lbs

  • Regularly be exposed to elevated heat levels.
