ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop clear and effective quotations for current and prospective customers, representatives and/or Regional
Sales or Industry Sales.

Complete pro-active open quote follow-up or new product information phone calls.
Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with current customers, prospective customers and/or
representatives in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organization's products and services.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to
management.
Support new business development activities by follow-up phone calls on sales leads, as required.
Develops customer accounts by suggesting related and new product items and explaining technical features to
customers and representatives.
issues and ensure effective and responsive problem resolution.
Travel to representative and customer sites to train on products, internal processes and the resources available to
support their needs.
Participate in trade shows and conventions in assigned territory.


Quote Entry
Understand how to enter quotes in ERP/CRM.
Able to back up SATS on some quotes and customer interaction.
ERP/CRM Maintenance
Add new customers to ERP/CRM.
Enter call reports
Work with OS to update customer records (Strategic Data A/B/C, Visit importance).
NAICS codes are correct.
Update and maintain pricing agreements for groups of customers as required.
Quote/Order follow up in ERP/CRM
Close quotes as ordered or lost.
Ensure customer satisfaction for orders.
Contact customers to determine if a quote is still viable, or if more information is needed, communicate with OS or TS
for further needs.
Product Knowledge
Basic to intermediate product knowledge required by 12 months.


QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Focus on customer satisfaction through continuous improvement. Understand, implement and maintain the Quality
Policy of VEGA.
Identify and implement corrections to problems and opportunities for improvement, both individually and through teams.
Follow procedures and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
As applicable, assure that the product meets drawings and customer requirements. Identify and prevent further
processing of non-conforming parts or processes.
