As the Human Resources Coordinator, you are responsible for the administering Human Resource programs, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and administration tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support the Human Resource team through recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
- Support full cycle recruitment of frontline, service positions
- Build relationships with postsecondary schools
- Screen resumes and conduct prescreen calls, perform reference checks
- Prepare and deliver employment offers
- Create new electronic files and manage employee data
- Support payroll to initiate payroll, identify and communicate changes and resolve system issues
- Lead, coordinate and deliver onboarding for corporate office team members and site managers
- Administer offboarding process for all team members in Alberta and BC
- Manage internal assets for onboarding and offboarding purposes
- Assist with building a targeted recruitment strategy for challenging locations
- Analyze recruitment data to identify and determine trends
- Document management, including regular updates
- Contribute to process improvements leading to centralizing and streamlining Human Resource operations
- Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Human Resources
- Completion of post secondary program in Human Resources is an asset
- Certified CPHR or working towards certification
- Experience with multiple locations is an asset
- Demonstrated excellent client service skills and superior interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated knowledge of provincial labour laws, workers' compensation, and union relations is considered an asset
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite, specifically excel, Indeed, and Linkedin
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with ever changing priorities
