IT Technician II
The District

The Opportunity
As the IT Technician II you will be responsible for co-ordinating and maintaining the operational requirements
of Information Technology Services (ITS) with minimum supervision. You will provide front line IT support
throughout the Municipal Offices of Muskoka and related Branch Offices.

- Work with users and staff regarding all aspects of
networks and projects.
- Provide ongoing support to users and staff via
- Perform all, or some, of the following functions:
- Configure, install and test computer systems,
- Install and test upgrades to systems, networks,
- Assist vendors and providers re: bug fixes and
- Diagnose and repair software, network and
- Plan and implement backup/recovery
- Maintain internal and external networks.
- Graduate of a threeyear community college
acceptable combination of education, training
and experience.
- Three years recent and significant experience
complex WAN environment with multiple lines
of business.
- Excellent knowledge of computer standards
and maintenance practices, computer
troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft
desktop and server operating systems.

What we are offering
This is a permanent full-time opportunity at the District. The hourly compensation range for this role is
$ $37.65.
