CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.


CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of
Document Control Clerk.



Purpose


The
Document Control Clerk works with the project engineering teams to aid in the flow, monitoring, and expediting of project documentation.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, update and maintain customer and vendor document lists and databases per project requirements and Company standards
  • Track, receive and process vendor documents via the project engineering teams in a timely manner
  • Process documents tasked by engineering team, creating cover pages and transmittals to vendors and customers
  • Generate document expediting reports and expedite customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure the project document list schedule is maintained
  • Create final manufacturing data books at the end of each project by compiling and assembling all necessary manufacturing, engineering, and quality documents per customer and Company requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proven selfstarter with strong work ethic, high energy, and positive attitude
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
  • Motivated, proactive, team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Education and/or Experience

  • University/College Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with processing, compiling and editing PDF documents is preferred
  • Experience with scheduling, using Microsoft Projects is an asset
  • Experience with using PLM system is an asset
  • Experience working with SAP is an asset

  • Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

  • Work environment involves working in an office setting
  • Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while working in warehouse
