What You Get To Do:

  • Develop a thorough logistic plan that meets the company's supply obligations to the client.
  • Prepare, send out, and analyze RFIs, PFQs, and RFPs as well as responses to identify the most suitable carriers.
  • Create and update shipping plans and schedules and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Prepare shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, NAFTA certificates, Canadian/US Customs, etc.) and ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carriers, forwarders, customers, and agents in a timely manner.
  • Issue, receive, and approve PO and process of payment.
  • Conduct logistics spend analysis and weekly/monthly financial forecasts.
  • Review invoices and ensure all charges are supported with appropriate documentation and are in compliance with the current agreements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the management of pickup of the modular units.
  • Ensure that all service work is tracked in the R&M Dashboard or applicable software so that ongoing commitments and spend are clearly noted.
  • Support sales team with various project and operational matters.
  • Collect inspection reports for inbound and outbound units, including photos to maintain an up to date Availability Log and ensure tracking of all R&M expenses or forward looking hour estimates to prepare units for clients.
  • Monitor material levels to submit timely material requisitions for all repair and maintenance materials and consumables.

Who You Are:

  • Postsecondary education or equivalent experience in a construction environment
  • Must be extremely well organized and detailoriented, work with a high level of energy
  • Prior experience or background in the Transportation industry preferred.
  • Good understanding of construction contracts and general accounting principles
  • Possess discipline towards meeting deadlines and strong personal time management.
  • Document control experience would be an asset
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, and create solutions
  • Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively resolve issues in a tactful manner
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite required

Salary:
$60K - $75K per year (Eligible for Annual Incentive)
