SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Supports the QA department in achieving its goals.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform 1st off and Final inspection activities
- incoming resin inspection and associated records.
- incoming colourant inspection and associated records.
- incoming inspection of primary packaging materials and records.
- 1st off approval and updating sample retention.
- implement and maintain work instructions and ensure documentation is revised as required.
- assist team leader in calibration activities.
- follow up product non conformances and update on-hold forms
- prepare pre shipment samples as required.

EDUCATION:
Required:
Minimum Grade 12 Graduation Diploma
TRAINING:
ISO 9001 Introduction
GMP/GDP
Allergens
Food Safety and Defense
In house WINSPC training course
Safety Training
Other trainings as required
Work Conditions
Plant and laboratory
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a QA technician in a plastics manufacturing environment
SKILLS:
Required:
Basic knowledge of SPC techniques
Ability to read and write English fluently
Good mathematical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Team Player
