We have two practices, Timberlands Dental Care & Southpointe Dental, conveniently located in Red Deer.


Southpointe Dental is a family-friendly dental practice that provides our patients with comprehensive general dentistry services in addition to gum therapy, ortho & Invisalign, TMJ & TMD, sedation dentistry, cosmetic services, and root canal therapy.

Schedule:
Monday 8am - 4pm, Tuesday 12pm - 8pm, Wednesday 12pm - 8pm, Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning & Execution_
  • Alongside the Practice Manager, help execute plans to improve daily operations of the practice ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence and support strategies to increase organic patient growth.
  • Help review clinic environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance & Patient Safety_
  • Ensure the clinic is fully compliant and meets the provincial health regulation standards.
  • Lead by example to ensure patient safety is a top priority.
  • Work in accordance with the practice's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and in compliance with applicable provincial legislation.
  • Leadership_

Under the direction of the Practice Manager:

  • Help coach and motivate the team to improve productivity, engagement and retention of patients.
  • Support action plans and help motivate the team to meet operational and company objectives.
  • Support recruitment efforts to interview dental professionals and help assess for best fit.

About You:

  • 35 years of experience as a Dental Administrator preferably as a team lead or, shift supervisor
  • 12 years experience in a supervisory role in either a clinical setting, retail and/or, customer service
  • University or College Diploma in Business or, Office Administration preferred
  • Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Strong commitment to maintaining health regulation and operational standards
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs
