Description

Major responsibilities include:

Partner with various Business & IT teams to develop business cases for implementing technology solutions to meet business needs. Identify impacted business processes and secure business participation for requirements gathering and related testing.
Monitor and assess in flight development & project work to identify and mitigate issues/risks to technology implementation or benefit realization.
Conduct post implementation reviews to assess what went well, opportunities to improve, and ensure training and documentation has been completed/updated.
Analyze and determine business engagement needs to support planning, requirements, and testing of in flight and planned work to ensure resource availability.
Establish and facilitate governance processes to prioritize the full portfolio of work, manage budget commitments, provide status, and work with partners to mitigate risks.
Develop guiding principles to balance the implementation of shortterm versus welldefined longterm solutions (e.g., package vs development, manual vs system etc.)
Review and aid in jointly shaping the Canadian Business/Technology strategy.
Partner with IT and business SMEs to collaboratively develop solutions to address and support business needs.
Work collaboratively and in a consultative manner with I.T. and Business resources to ensure alignment with prioritization, and remediation of issues.
Identify and work with training and sales enablement to develop plans for technology training and technical skills development (e.g., data analytics, process management, system administration, etc.)
Escalate, remediate, communicate and triage operational and production issues collaboratively with all parties required.
Partner with I.T. and Business to ensure Project Management activity & Project Execution is tightly aligned.
Understand & manage technical interactions (data & process) BCP, and SLAs with vendors and service providers.
