We are a specialty medical office in Brampton, ON looking to hire a full-time Medical Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
Our office is located in the heart of Brampton - within walking distance to bus stops and the Bramalea City Centre.
We are looking for an individual who is interested in a permanent, long-term position where they can learn and grow within the medical office environment.
Please note that we are open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. Full-time employees work are scheduled 5 days per week 9am-5pm - this includes weekends as scheduled.Our team is looking for an individual with the following qualifications/qualities:
- Experience in a medical office, with knowledge of medical documents, EMR, protocols, etc. is an asset but not necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent timemanagement skills
- Friendly and enthusiastic with a willingness to help team members and patients
- Ability to get tasks completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple physicians
- Ability to take feedback and use it to strengthen skillsets
- Comfortable with patient interaction and assisting physicians with day to day clinical activities
Position responsibilities/duties (not limited to):
- Managing incoming phone calls, answering patient questions and requests, and booking patient appointments for all physicians in the office.
- Sorting incoming faxes
- Patient chart entry and document uploading
- Processing patient forms and assisting with intakes
- Working alongside physicians and physician assistants to ensure the quality of patient and operational flow
- Daily routine office maintenance such as keeping workplace clean and organized, end of the day cleanup, etc.
- Assisting physicians and the physician assistant in clinical activities such as taking patient vitals, helping patients with intakes, sanitizing rooms after procedures, etc.

As soon as possible
Compensation:
$2925.00/month

Salary:
From $2,925.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON L6T 4S5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
