We are a specialty medical office in Brampton, ON looking to hire a full-time Medical Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.


Our office is located in the heart of Brampton - within walking distance to bus stops and the Bramalea City Centre.

This is a full-time on-site position.

We are looking for an individual who is interested in a permanent, long-term position where they can learn and grow within the medical office environment.

Please note that we are open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. Full-time employees work are scheduled 5 days per week 9am-5pm - this includes weekends as scheduled.

Our team is looking for an individual with the following qualifications/qualities:

  • Experience in a medical office, with knowledge of medical documents, EMR, protocols, etc. is an asset but not necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent timemanagement skills
  • Friendly and enthusiastic with a willingness to help team members and patients
  • Ability to get tasks completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple physicians
  • Ability to take feedback and use it to strengthen skillsets
  • Comfortable with patient interaction and assisting physicians with day to day clinical activities

Position responsibilities/duties (not limited to):

  • Managing incoming phone calls, answering patient questions and requests, and booking patient appointments for all physicians in the office.
  • Sorting incoming faxes
  • Patient chart entry and document uploading
  • Processing patient forms and assisting with intakes
  • Working alongside physicians and physician assistants to ensure the quality of patient and operational flow
  • Daily routine office maintenance such as keeping workplace clean and organized, end of the day cleanup, etc.
  • Assisting physicians and the physician assistant in clinical activities such as taking patient vitals, helping patients with intakes, sanitizing rooms after procedures, etc.

Compensation:
$2925.00/month
