TD Technology Delivery / Partner Management covers planning and delivery of functions or services within segment CIO groups and/or across Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS).

While investing heavily in nurturing business, client and partner relationships for end-to-end delivery of technology solutions or services, these professionals also oversee and directly manage multiple specialized functional teams (e.g. Application Development, Solutions Designers, Business Systems Analysts, Support, Project Management etc.) and seamlessly manage ongoing infrastructure support and shared services to segment CIOs, business leaders and various TD stakeholders. Let's not forget they communicate the technology organization's overall book of work and manage stakeholder expectations. It's a big and busy mandate.

Job Details

About This Role
Developer as part of the Regulatory Compliance Technology team. The team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the Compliance, AML & Supervisory Platform.

A Unix Engineer with experience and background in Application Architecture, Design / Deployment and Testing, Product Certification, Real-time Event Driven Systems, Application Integration, Application Monitoring and Management, Databases and Application Integration with knowledge of Java, JMS, REST, XML, XSLT, and SQL is best suited for this role.

The role also must ensure all of the Regulatory, Compliance, and Internal Audit obligations as identified by TD Securities Technology Risk Management/Information Security standards are met by the delivered solution.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:

Contribute towards the future strategy and technology direction
Assist with Automated Regression Testing, System Integration Testing and Performance Acceptance Testing
Support nonproduction environment
Monitoring and Measurement of Key Performance Indicators
Perform capacity planning for both production and nonproduction environments
Product certification, patch management, upgrades and currency.
Ensure project deliverables are met in timely manner with excellent quality
Build system deployment plans and follow the ITIL process
Leverage DevOps Tools and Agile Methodology to deliver projects

7+ years related experience required.
Proven ability to manage large and complex projects simultaneously required.

Apache Kafka and Apache Beam for streaming and distribution
C++ and JNI for quant library
AngularJS and React for UI development

Graphite and Graphana for metrics
Linux as the operating system (Open Suse moving to RHEL 7)
Unix Engineering expertise
Understanding of Databases (e.g. Oracle, Azure SQL)
Database Query Languages (e.g. SQL, XQUERY, Mongoose)
Enterprise Monitoring (e.g. Nastel, Dynatrace)
Understanding of XML, XSLT, XPATH, JSON
Experience with Java/JMS,.NET, C/C++, REST
Scripting experience in JIL, Shell, Salt

Collaboration Tools

Confluence, Stash, JIRA, TeamCity/Jenkins
Technical abilities:
Expertise in SQL
Exposure to the SaaS product implementation with nocode or low code and ability to learn quickly
Data analysis skills
