We have an exciting opportunity to join Crombie REIT in the role of a Client Services Worker.

Based out of our Halifax Office, and reporting to the Manager, Parking Services the Client Services Worker is responsible for ongoing building maintenance and repairs while ensuring Crombie premises are maintained to high standard of quality.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain grounds and facilities according to Crombie REIT standards.
  • Perform ongoing building maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to: light plumbing, painting and general repairs and maintenance.
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
  • Perform daily property inspections.
  • Perform duties such as snow and ice removal from areas around the property in collaboration with snow removal contractor.
  • Respond to client concerns in a timely manner.
  • Respond to building emergencies when required.
  • Conduct investigations into building operations issues when required.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Grade 12 or acceptable equivalent in education
  • Trade certification considered an asset
  • Ability to understand equipment manuals and read drawings when required
  • Beginner level Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Strong maintenance skills
  • Previous experience in commercial property maintenance considered an asset
  • Experience working with property maintenance software programs (i.e. Angus Anywhere) considered an asset
  • Valid driver's license
