Job Description:

Our team is responsible for managing deployments to some of the biggest sports betting operators in the business.

We create, configure, maintain and upgrade both public and private cloud platforms capable of handling tens of thousands of transactions a minute.

Working hand in hand with our operators, we ensure that the platforms can handle whatever their customers can throw at them:
Superbowl, Grand National, Melbourne Cup - name your event, our platforms can handle it all - with 100% uptime

Responsibilities:

Managing end to end delivery of roll out and upgrade projects
Planning project resourcing and time lines with Project Management
Technical leadership and line management of individual Delivery Team of 34 release engineers
Presenting progress reports to internal stakeholders
Troubleshooting technical issues that have been escalated by the team

Qualifications:

Must have a technical engineering background
Experience leading a team and organizing weekly one to one meetings with team members
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Good working knowledge of the Linux command line
Experience with version control systems
Familiar with a scripting language
SQL experience, specifically query writing

This is experience would be a plus:

Experience with agile development methodologies
Experience with networking protocols and architecture
Familiarity with use of various continuous delivery/deployment tooling (e.g. terraform, ansible, docker, kubernetes, etc.)
Cloud services experience with AWS or similar

Additional Information

This position is hybrid, 2 days a week in the office. Our office is located in the heart of Montreal, near Peel metro.
