Description
Cottrill Heavy Equipment requires an Inventory Controller.This individual will report to our Office Manager and work alongside our Parts & Service Managers.
Applicants will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels by printing inventory reports and placing orders as needed.
- Completing regular cycle counts.
- Labelling parts in stockrooms.
- Shipping and receiving items as needed.
- Identifying defective parts.
- Working with staff to ensure items are allocated to correct work orders.
- Dealing with vendors on paperwork (invoices and returns) and warranty issues.
- Assisting staff with yearend processes.
- Answering phones, assisting customers, taking phone orders and performing counter sales.
- Being able to work in a fastpaced environment.
Applicants must have/be:
- STRONG computer skills.
- STRONG customer service skills.
- A valid driver's licence.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Responsible and selfmotivated.
- Heavy truck and equipment knowledge would be an asset.
- Physical ability required for heavy lifting and labour (at times items of 50 lbs +).
Note:
Wage to be determined based on knowledge and experience.
