Position Details:

Echelon Insurance has an excellent opportunity for those with no previous insurance exposure to join our growing team. We offer training on the fundamentals and allow you to grow into your role.

What You Will Do


The Junior Claims Adjuster, Physical Damage is responsible for handling vehicle physical damage claims by ensuring claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner.


  • Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate automobile, long haul trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle claims of low to moderate complexity
  • Deliver excellent customer service while understanding the claimant's situation
  • Manage challenging coverage claims with tact and professionalism
  • Obtain approval from Manager on claims above authority
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Unit Manager

  • Strong organizational; decision making and problemsolving skillset
  • Ability to crossreference information with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Postsecondary education or equivalent experience
