Description

The food truck team captain / Jr sous is responsible for managing the food service operations within the food trucks while reporting to the executive sous chef and culinary services manager.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Help oversee the day to day operations at the food trucks, as well as the commercial kitchen
  • Maintain the required records including food production, inventory, and meal counts
  • Ensure food truck staff follow proper safety and sanitation procedures
  • Preside over food truck employees including cooks, food preppers, and cashiers
  • Prepare and serve the food
  • Ensure all staff are following the food truck menus set by the Culinary Services manager
  • Record required cooler temperatures, food waste, and food temperatures
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, and proper rotation of product
  • Supervise and train food truck employees
  • Effectively follow opening and closing food truck procedures
  • Maintain all kitchen equipment

You Have:


  • 6 months experience in a leadership role in a fast paced kitchen environment
  • Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Food safe certification is an asset
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends based on our business needs.

Salary:
$19.00-$24.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Red Deer, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
