All about the role
As Lead Product Manager on the SkipTheDishes product team, you'll be able to lead the development of the product strategy and roadmap to optimize our Grocery and New Vertical experiences for Customers and Partners.
It will also span partnerships with the product teams on the Global Logistics and Operations teams, focused on aligning shared strategies and goals to grow new business lines through best in class customer, partner, operations and courier experiences.
There will also be opportunities to work alongside Global Customer, Partner and Grocery Product Teams, as we leverage best practices and toolsets used across 22 countries in JET.
You'll work closely with Market Leadership, Global Product Pillars, Delivery and Engineering leads at JET to define the high level direction and deliver high impact local and global initiatives that are in line with the overall JET Product and Tech vision and strategy.
As part of this varied role, we're counting on you to:
- Lead, develop and articulate a consolidated product roadmap to support the growth of grocery and other vertical occasions in Canada
- Collaborate on shared strategies and tactics across local and global product teams while leveraging best practices and toolsets across JET
- Work across multiple teams and pillars to manage dependencies, set priorities and maintain alignment to the overall P&T strategy and objectives
- Engage with grocery and other vertical partners to understand their difficulties and help the team understand the problems and solve them
- Communicate team objectives and roadmaps effectively across all functional areas (Delivery, Engineering, UX, BI, Market Leadership) including other product pillars, and executive stakeholders
- Collaboratively identify relevant important metrics and set high impacting OKRs, including the ways these are tracked and reported back on
- Empower the team to make decisions and create a safe environment for them to build, measure, learn and develop at speed
- Proactively seek ways to improve the Product Management disciplines within the team, as well as across the Customer and Partner Product pillars
Can you deliver
Here's what we're looking for from our Lead Product Manager
- Embracing change, with a bias towards action and an outcomedriven mindset
- Extensive experience as Product Manager working with B2C or B2B technology/software products
- Proven experience leading product focused teams using agile software delivery practices
- Ability to deal with multiple, often contending priorities, while using a customer first approach, backed up data driven evidence and clear assumptions
- Outstanding storytelling and communication skills to engage team members and stakeholders on a nontechnical and technical level
- Passion for leading, influencing and mentoring across team members to level up skill sets and learning across products
