SIGNING BONUS FOR DIRECT HIRES:
$200 UPON HIRE AND $300 BONUS UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION PERIOD

***: Support the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and Team Leads to ensure the accuracy and execution of inventory entry, processing of logístical paperwork, TMS or ASN entry, and administrative support.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Purchase order receipt entry and ensuring accuracy. Work with receivers to validate stock when required.
  • Inputting in and out sheets to ensure accuracy of inventory in a timely manner.
  • Process shipping reports to track and ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner according to shipment date while following specific customer guidelines.
  • Identify and validate finished products to be shipped.
  • Receive work orders into inventory and release customer orders through visual software system to procure packing lists for customers.
  • Create shipping documentation including customs documents, when necessary, Bill of ladings, shipping labels and any other relevant documents to support shipping and receiving.
  • Responsible for accurate data entry in third party transportation systems, scheduling appointments for pickups, preparing, and processing ASN's as required.
  • Coordinating with customer and contracted carriers and couriers such as FTL, LTL, Drayage, Expedite, FedEx, UPS, and Purolator.
  • Inventory maintenance, cycle counting, adjustments and audits when required.
  • Maintain, track, and archive custom documents, BOL's, receiving's and other important documents.
  • Document and report any damages and discrepancies to supervisor for accounting, reimbursement, and corrective actions.
  • Compliance and support of all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Contribute and collaborate on work improvement initiatives, procedures, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High school diploma
  • Shipping/receiving or logistics experience required.
  • Post secondary education in logistics or related field considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management considered an asset.
  • Experience with MS Office such as outlook and excel, and ability to perform specific shipping/receiving exercises in relevant software/ ERP systems.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to pivot and to problem solve quickly while prioritizing daily tasks according to their importance.
  • Accountability, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate to team members and management

Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
