Description

Purpose:

The Summer Student position works in a support function within the relevant department in an administrative and/or a technical capacity.

It provides the student with the opportunity to develop relevant skills and experience and receive experiential on-the-job training, guidance and mentorship.

Education:

Current BBA or iBBA student at the Schulich School of Business.

Experience:

Previous work experience may be considered.

Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the First Year Advisor will be in frequent communication with newly admitted students.

Must have strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must be comfortable presenting to groups of approximately 50 people.

Strong attention to detail and initiative.
