Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the availability of tables
Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
Help to manage waitlists during peak hours
Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for new guests when needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in guest services, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes
Basic knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette

$15.60-$16.55 per hour
