The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

Position summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in medical microbiology/bacteriology to contribute to the Energise project on next-generation rapid phenotypic bacteriology diagnostics for low-resource and remote settings.

This individual will work under the supervision of Dr. Cedric Yansouni.


General Duties

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for participating in and supporting various laboratory experiments required for the Energise project including preparing materials and equipment, recording results, maintaining records and inventory, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work area, and any other related tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for conducting and supporting laboratory activities as needed for the Energise project.

Additional information

Status:
Temporary, full time


Pay Scale:
$15.75 to $18.80 Commensurate with education & work experience.

Work Shift: 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Glen Site
