Ottawa Logistics is expanding to a new location in Smiths Falls

Ottawa Logistics provides warehousing, order fulfillment, and distribution services to hundreds

of customers. We are powered by quality orientation, dedicated staff, and cutting-edge

technology.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist with the launch of the new warehouse and

oversee the day-to-day operations.

collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate competent forklift skills, manage lift repairs and maintenance, coach new

operators, and adhere to safety and operator codes.

Required experience:
Class 1: Electric sit down & Class 3: Ride-on electric pallet jack.

Hire, train, schedule, and motivate employees.
Communicate and work remotely with Ottawa Logistics employees and management.
Manage daytoday operations including printing and organizing carrier labels,

overseeing and assisting with outbound order volume, prioritizing tasks, prepping carrier

pick ups, and monitoring inventory levels.

Maintain relationships with carrier drivers and schedule pick ups when necessary.
Monitor calendar and schedule incoming deliveries.
Ensure dock safety, warehouse safety, and HR policies adherence.
Open and securely close warehouse daily.
Report building issues and maintenance requirements to management and/or landlord.
