A career in International Market and Ongoing Events team in the Financial Markets Operations at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of financial markets business strategy and wealth management.

Thanks to your involvement in the various related processes to Domestic Market Events, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.


Your job:


  • Analyze the information received on ongoing market events and/or related to private companies.
  • Validate positions and prepare accounting entries to reflect market events in client accounts.
  • Ensure the conformity of instructions received and certificates to be transmitted to transfer agents in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
  • Identify all risk elements associated with a file or situation.
  • Interact with the various sectors of the Bank to offer support in daily operations.
  • Identify the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem presented and adapt your interventions, while providing quality service.

Join a team of 10 dynamic analysts who are constantly striving to have a major impact on the success of the Bank and Capital Markets.

The team's mission is to contribute to the success of capital markets through leading operational expertise and sound risk management.

This position reports to the International Market and Ongoing Events team director.

Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content on such topics as different market events to support your ongoing learning.

You'll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.


Prerequisites:


  • Be a holder of threeyear college or university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience
  • Experience related to securities operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of ISM, AS00, GDI, desirable

Languages:


  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently serve clients who speak a language other than French
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will collaborate with a regulator, authority, government body or other entity outside Quebec
This is an evolving position
T1 and is part of a clear and determined development path that can allow you to evolve in your role and, thus, to access different levels of function and propel your caree
