Your Future Roles and Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for consulting services
  • Develop proposals and project blueprints
  • Create business cases, conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies
  • Formulate strategic business plans, covering performance objectives and delivery approaches
  • Plan and enable business metamorphosis
  • Drive cultural evolution
  • Implement governance and continuous enhancement strategies
  • Devise strategies, reports, evaluations, and/or suggestions regarding the implementation and/or provision of publicly funded health services
  • Conduct research, analyses, position papers, jurisdiction scans, and examine supporting data to provide strategic advisory services based on findings
  • Gather and analyze data on emerging and innovative trends in publicly funded health systems through market interactions, stakeholder engagements, and industry best practices

Prerequisites for Success in this Position
  • MBA
  • 5+ years of postgraduate consulting experience in the healthcare sector, including Alberta
  • Thorough comprehension of Alberta's healthcare landscape
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with clients and team members
  • Proficient in verbal and written English
  • Skill in business process analysis and modeling
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements in expansive business or government environments
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making proficiencies

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP
  • Knowledge of business process management methodologies (e.g. Lean, SixSigma, others)
  • Background in procurement
  • Expertise in organizational change
