Bombay Frankies in partnership with celebrity Chef, TV personality and cookbook author Vikram Vij launched Bombay Frankies - a new, chef-inspired Indian street food restaurant concept in 2022, with the first Ottawa location opened on June 24, 2023.

Plans are underway to open additional locations in Ottawa this year.

The restaurant is named after India's all-time number one street food, the frankie roll, which originated in the city of Bombay.

Specifically, the frankie is a handheld, flatbread wrap called a paratha, filled with meat or vegetables and incredible Indian spices and sauces.

Bombay Frankies serves a variety of meat and vegetarian frankie options, plus frankie bowls, salads, side items and drinks.

The ideal person must strong restaurant management experience (experience operating multiple locations is considered an asset), a passion for superior food and service and supporting their community.

As an Operating Partner, you will play a crucial role in building and managing the overall operations of the restaurant brand/s under your leadership with the support of the Ownership Group.

Main Responsibilities:
∙ Supervising team member relations including training & development, and recognition. As well as recruitment, and scheduling.
∙ Promoting a healthy, safe, and respectful work environment.
∙ Fostering a positive work environment that supports and promotes exceptional guest experiences.
∙ Ensure consistency of quality, portion control, and menu item presentation.
∙ Adhere to and enforce food handling/safety requirements.
∙ Ensure for and maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary work environment.

Job Requirements:
∙ Supervisory/management experience working in a restaurant or retail store with multi-unit management experience considered an asset.
∙ Passion for food, service, and hospitality.
∙ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
∙ Strong team building skills.
∙ Local store marketing/fundraising participation.
∙ Proven ability to achieve results through others.
∙ Experience with ordering/counting inventory as an asset.
∙ Local store marketing/fundraising participation.

Job Type:
Permanent

Pay:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
