Description

J & L Beef Limited a Progressive Food Processing Plant/ tray pack facility seeking motivated and experienced
General Production Laborers to join our Production team. If you have the following skills, education, training or experience, and looking for a rewarding career in the food industry, we would like to consider you for the current employment opening at J & L Beef Ltd.

Requirements:

Comfortable working around raw meat
Meat cutting, trimming & using knife experience will be an asset
Able to lift, push and pull up to 23 kg.
Able to work in a cold work environment
Work well in a team environment
Good communication skills, understand, read, write & speak English
Ability to work in fast paced, cold work environment
Ability to work around machinery / machine operations skills an asset
Willingness to work a flexible work schedule and shifts when business needs require

This is a unionized position with a progressive wage scale, regular wage increases and benefit package that includes, medical, dental, extended health, life insurance and a company pension plan.

Starting wage:
$16.95 per hour
