RECEPTIONIST

Temporary Casual Position until March 2025

Brampton Site

Work Arrangement:

Position Summary:

ErinoakKids is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Receptionist.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Receptionist acts as a first point of contact for our clients and your personal, attitude, organizational and problem solving skills influence a client's impression and experience with the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responds to client and general inquires in person and by telephone, and directs client issues or concerns appropriately following organizational policy;
  • Enters, attends, and edits client appointments in Meditech, as required;
  • Accountable for appointment outcomes and data integrity related to appointments
  • Responsible for inputting client appointment scoring
  • Ensure client confidentiality at all times
  • Responsible for overall ingoing/outgoing mail distribution for the site;
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized reception area;
  • Acts as a main point of contact during emergency codes and procedures and supports any emergency procedures as per organizational policy;
  • Lock and secure the building at end of shift;
  • Must be available to work Tuesday's and Thursday's from 4:00pm7:30pm, and every other Saturday from 8:00am4:15pm.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • A college diploma in a related field is an asset;
  • Proficient knowledge of office equipment (postage meter machines, fax machines, photocopier and multiline telephone systems);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work independently;
  • Able to problemsolve effectively to meet the requests and needs of clients and staff;
  • Able to resolve issues in a timely manner using good judgment;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products;
  • Working knowledge of Meditech information systems is an asset;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
