Description

Transway Systems is a leading vacuum tank manufacturer that is engaged in the development, design and sales of hydro excavation trucks, septic trucks, sewer trucks, toilet trucks, water trucks, and industrial vacuum equipment worldwide.

We are currently seeking a Computer Aided Design Drafter for our day shift.

Qualifications

Well versed in "Autodesk Inventor";
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or image editing software is an asset;
Knowledge of "Load Xpert" or Axle load analysis is an asset;
Engineering knowledge is an asset (Steel load analysis);
Able to work effectively both as an individual and a team member.

Job Duties

Design and 3D Model parts in Autodesk Inventor with dimensions;
Create dimensioned drawings to be exported for presentation or assembly instructions for shop work;
Create assemblies complete with Bills of Materials for costing;
Support sales department with concept or layout drawings to aid in design of future projects;
Take measurements of assemblies created in shop and recreate in Autodesk Inventor.
