Responsibilities:


  • Matching invoices with purchase orders/quotes
  • Verifying signing authorities for invoices and tracking down signatures when required
  • Expense reimbursements organizing receipts and tracking approvals
  • Maintain employee gas cards including Fleet Fuel Cards
  • Reception answer, screen & direct calls in a professional manner
  • Reception first point of contact at counter to assist with walkins, delivery receipts, mail and collect paperwork being dropped off

Responsibilities:


  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and recording systems, photocopying, dealing with deliveries, stationery, scanning and perform other related duties as required

Requirements:


  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization


  • Computer literate

  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
  • Able to handle multiple requests, prioritize and respond quickly and efficiently
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must be adaptive for technology changes as the company shifts to a paperless environment
Experience within an accounting department would also be an asset

Additional Information

  • Monday to Friday
  • Normal work hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm OR 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Not accessible to public transportation

Future Plans:


The goal of this role is to learn our accounting software and processes and develop into a Full Time Truckers Payable Clerk with compensation being adjusted accordingly starting at $24.

Salary:
From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
