Summary:

Canderel is seeking a motivated and dynamic Maintenance Technician to join the Building Operations team at a premiere downtown office building.

This individual will be a key team member, providing outstanding service, ensuring smooth output of building systems, and contributing to preventative maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

Respond to tenant calls/requests in a timely manner and provide outstanding customer service;
Conduct inspections of building exterior and interior;
Perform meter readings, vacant space checks, mechanical logs, etc.;
Keep diligent track and organize stock supplies to maximize productivity and cost savings;
Program access cards;
Perform adjustments and minor repairs on doors, flushometers, lights, ceiling tiles, etc.;
Contact contractors and procure quotes for required work;
Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment;
Assist and support the team with operational items;
Review automation system and make required adjustment, scheduling, set point changes;
Perform light duty sanitation and exterior cleaning.

Qualifications & Competencies:

years' experience in building maintenance, preferably in an office environment;

Outstanding customer service skills;
Strong verbal and written skills;
Detailoriented work style;
Able to perform tasks in a timely manner;
Perform all work according to OH&S, ASME, CSA, Safety Codes Act, established safety

- procedures, manufacturer's instructions, company policies;

Knowledge and experience working with hand/power tools;
Flexible to work during regular hours but also afterhours and participate in oncall rotation;
Able to work alone or in a team environment;
Knowledgeable and up to date with Microsoft Office suite;
Knowledgeable/experienced with work order software programs such as Angus Anywhere;
Valid driver's license;
Must successfully complete a criminal background verification;
Seeking a strong troubleshooter with a high technical aptitude.
