Reporting to the Director, Asset Management, the Advisor role will be responsible for supporting the financial, commercial, and administrative activities necessary to ensure the optimization of the entire lifecycle of an asset.


The role will manage various obligations related to off take agreements, leases, financial agreements, contractor agreements (O&M), and maintain any joint venture governance agreements.

Working in a fast-paced environment and a growing Power business unit, the Advisor will identify and manage deadlines as required.


What You Will Do:


  • Support all commercial matters that are critical from the site level
  • Support contract owners for all revenue agreements, joint venture agreements, management agreements, and support major service contracts ($1M+)
  • Ensure contractual obligations and deadlines are being actively monitored and managed
  • Review and negotiation of new contracts, settlements, resolutions, disputes
  • Ensure accurate governance and record keeping; Evaluate proposals/decisions, acquire approvals, lead disputes

Who You Are:


  • You possess a University degree and/or related experience in finance, business, engineering
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in renewable commercial operations or management of portfolio of assets. A combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered
  • Experience working cross functionally across both technical/operational teams to manage work independently and where processes are not likely to exist requiring start up approaches and oversight
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills both written and verbal to internal and external audiences. Ability to nurture and leverage relationships with external partners and internal site teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in promoting team work, gap analysis and solutions delivery.
  • Confident/collaborative individual contributor leadership skills to influence others and drive recommendations
  • Ability to travel to operational locations
