Description
Being a Business Development Manager means creating strong business relationships with dealers in the Automotive, Leisure, Marine and RV industries.
Currently, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Consumer Financing Services team. You will develop and implement action plans and business development strategies based on established business strategies.You will work with Automotive, Leisure, Marine and RV dealerships in the
( Kitchner, Guelph, Cambridge, Waterloo Corridor and Surrounding areas ) to enhance our National Bank brand in market, help grow our loan portfolio and increase our market share.
Your role
- Identify emerging business opportunities in the market and make recommendations regarding those opportunities
- Establish and maintain effective communication with dealers and various other internal parties across all related business lines
- Establish a preferred relationship with clients and ensure client satisfaction by providing personalized service
- Increase the visibility of the Bank's products and services by taking part in various external activities, industry shows, and related events where required.
Your team
You will be working in the Ontario for the Consumer Financing Services sector with a team of 15 colleagues reporting to the Senior Manager.
Ontario team is dynamic, high performing and provides Top Notch dealer experience.
Basic requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' relevant experience or completed master's degree in a related field and three years' relevant experience
- Experience and demonstrated success in B2B business development
- Experience in account management, sales and customer service, an asset
- Experience in the Indirect Financing industry or leasing, an asset
