Job Description:


Position Summary:


Reporting to the Director of Digital Health, and acting as a key member of the Hospital Information System/Corporate Solutions (HIS) project team, the System Transformation - Communication and Change Management Lead (CCM Lead) will be responsible for developing and executing change management and communication plans to support the planned HIS implementations.

This individual will work closely with the project team, CMH leadership, and hospital stakeholders to ensure awareness and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.


The CCM Lead has experience leading large and complex organizations through significant change initiatives and has hands on experience in change management, communications, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.

By joining the project team early on in the project, the CCM Lead will have the ability to influence and guide the organization throughout the whole change lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a communication plan for the HIS project to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Design and implement a change management plan (e.g., Kotter's model of change) which will be integrated into the project plan to guide and support CMH through all aspects of the change.
  • Lead branding work for the project, creating a recognizable and relevant brand.
  • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of change management strategies and communication plans, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assess and the support the readiness of individuals, departments, and CMH as a whole to undertake a change initiative of this magnitude.
  • Provide guidance and support to hospital leadership and project teams to facilitate change adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials to support change adoption in partnership with CMH Organizational Development,
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels in collaboration with CMH's Public Affairs & Communications.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational development, change management and communication.
  • Experience with organizationwide change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders towards a common vision and goal.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, visual, and informative communications. Graphic design experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Change Management certification or designation desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management concepts and tools.
