Procurement Manager

Canada. PlanET's portfolio covers all areas of biogas technology including Aerobic Digestors and
RNG systems from initial planning, design, construction to on-site service and remote support.

For the continued expansion of its North American operations, PlanET is looking for a


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and mentor procurement staff in soliciting bids, analyzing quotes, selecting, and recommending suppliers who can provide items and services for the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specifications.
• Define procurement goals and objectives, tracking and reporting on project procurement status, qualitative and quantitative analyses of supply chain, preparation of proper supporting documentation for the transaction, and presenting findings and recommendations to management
• Develope and presenting recommendations to senior management based on research of the relevant transactions and suppliers
• Analyse and oversee the tasks associated with procurement KPI.
• Oversee procurement of components and services for project builds according to project schedule.
• Conduct market assessments to seek out new potential vendors.
• Generate and author Supply Chain/ Management plans and identify measures for managing and qualifying subcontractors.
• Manage supply base and supplier development program including ongoing audits of suppliers.
• Negotiate supply contracts and back charges with vendors supplying nonconforming product.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in a procurement management function
• Postsecondary education in management, logistics, business, information systems or equivalent experience in a related discipline
• Corporate Procurement experience is mandatory
• Able to decipher and get information from Engineered drawings.
• High level understanding of contract management
• Work in a deadline driven environment with multiple projects on the go.
• Results driven with versatile communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products.
• Ability to travel within the United States and Canada.
• Ability to speak German would be an asset, knowledge and experience in Renewable

Energy would be ideal.


Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Hybrid role: 2-3 days attendance in the office required.
