- Travel extensively, staying overnight for approximately half the week, visiting food plants and baking company headquarters across Canada. Base location should be in Central Canada, preferably in GTA.
- Provide assistance to customers in R+D and Bakery product formulation, collaborating with food scientists/bakery specialists within varying bakery settings.
- Support the Reiser Sales Team during customer interactions and presentations.
- Collaborate effectively with other Reiser experts and regional sales staff.
- Coordinate necessary resources for successful machinery installation, gathering feedback for potential machine enhancements.
- Prior experience as a baker, particularly in industrial/commercial bakery settings, with hands-on bread formulation experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of bakery manufacturing and a strong passion for the industry.
- Ability to comprehend bakery machinery and a knack for networking within plant facilities and headquarters to foster key relationships.
- A sales-driven self-starter who can adeptly identify and address customer needs throughout the sales process.
- Effective communication from the shop floor to the executive level, coupled with clear written correspondence skills internally.
- Previous exposure to VEMAG Bakery equipment is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer competencies.

We are in search of a proactive individual well-versed in the intricacies of the bakery process, capable of actively engaging in identifying and addressing customer needs. This role demands a sociable individual who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across various bakery facilities, from small-scale to large operations. The success of this position hinges on the ability to drive sales collectively in a team-oriented environment. Extensive travel to customer sites is essential, requiring mechanical aptitude and a readiness to grasp the technical aspects of our equipment.
This role necessitates proficiency in multiple areas. The ideal candidate should be a skilled baker with demonstrated expertise in a bakery setting. Proficiency in formulation and process execution is crucial, as you will collaborate with customers to enhance formulations and production techniques. Experience with AIB certification and similar machinery operation is highly advantageous.
