$44,000 - $48,000 per year

The Opportunity


You would be an integral part of our People & Culture (P&C) team, delivering on our promise of excellence by leading the administration of our P&C team.

You would be responsible for the accurate administration, tracking, and coordination of our various employee programs and services, such as onboarding, learning and development, performance management, engagement, and more.

With a progressive and process improvement mindset, you are able to think critically and are resourceful in your ability to find solutions.


You will

  • Monitor training certifications (First Aid) and background checks (CRC, VSC, CAR) and complete annual renewals
  • Lead aspects of the recruitment process, such as monitoring Requisition forms, preparing and activating job postings, and conducting background checks for successful hires
  • Manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and HRIS profile creation, ensuring a positive new hire experience
  • Monitor performance management, tacking completed reviews, follow up with supervisors, and ensure reviews are completed across the Association
  • Support in the administration and coordination of People & Culture initiatives and programs, such as planning, tracking, reporting, and communicating
  • Send out scheduled employee surveys and monitor and track completion rates
  • Monitor and work with departments to process employee contract renewals
  • Act as the People & Culture representative on internal event planning committees, as appropriate

You possess

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Management
  • Detailoriented with experience tracking, maintaining, and reporting on information and data
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines, accurately track data, and confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Strong documentation creation, formatting, and writing abilities
  • Strong ability to actively listen and communicate with empathy
  • Technically proficient, curious, and experienced in how technology can improve process
  • Demonstrated ability to critically think, problem solve, and implement resolution
  • High level of diplomacy, demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations, and make sound decisions
