Job Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers of goods and services, and evaluate their capabilities, quality, and pricing.
  • Recognize and forecast needs based on orders and inventory, and work with suppliers to ensure that we have the necessary materials to meet demand.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that they meet our requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement decisions are aligned with business needs and goals.
  • Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree in chemistry, purchasing management, or related filed. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mandarin or Cantonese speaking abilities are preferred.
  • Preferred experience working with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) suppliers.
