The BRP Apparel and Demand Planning teams are looking for an Apparel Demand Planner to drive financial and product strategies.

We are looking for a supply chain professional who has experience in a global environment with several regional distribution centres, with an understanding of Master Data, DRP calculations and capacity planning.

Strong analytical skill is required to identify resource constraints, risks and opportunities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial mindset to bring our demand planning process to the next level.


YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Work closely with BRP Apparel Management, Business and Strategy to design and execute our planning process.


Collaborate in forecasting the sales at the country/brand/category level for the BRP's various sales channels that align with Apparel's vision, financial objectives, and customer experience goals.

Collaborate with Product Management teams to develop business cases and define strategic roadmaps.


Develop and build standardized reports to perform in season performance analysis and postmortems at season end to provide insights to the merchandising team.


Develop and maintain a monthly demand plan in $/units for specific SKUs, channels and/or customers by utilizing various inputs including statistical forecasts, sales projections, point-of-sale data, promotions, product roadmaps, and market intelligence.

Develop demand plans for new product introductions and end-of-life products.

Monitor regional promotions, events, and market conditions to ensure accurate demand plans.

Provide analytical support to regional marketing activities.


Monitor the forecast accuracy and look for solutions and tools to improve the accuracy and the efficiency of the plan.


Participate in cross-functional consensus demand planning meetings to align on a Consensus Demand Plan (CDP) and ensure the timely hand-off of CDP to the Supply Planning organization.

Support regional S&OP by providing necessary demand-supply analysis reports.

Execute corrective actions to update the demand plan and resolve gaps between actual orders and CDP.

Work with the Supply Planning team to highlight regional demand priorities and ensure adequate supply to satisfy demand.

Work closely with Regional Marketing and BU NPI teams to plan and execute successful product transitions.

Participate in regional demand planning process improvement projects.

Be a key player in the S&OP process.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations management, Finance or related field.

3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning and Allocation in a retail and wholesale environment.

Familiarity with the automotive, powersports industry a definite asset.

Demonstrated planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy.

Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including margin planning, selling and inventory productivity measures.

Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes, specifically forecasting and demand planning.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data and use statistical techniques for analysis.

Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills.

Strong Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Access etc.) skills.

APICS / CPIM / SCMP / CSCP / IBF certifications are assets.
