Excavator Operator
Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator. Wage will depend on experience.


Requirements:


  • Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
  • 4 years experience operating excavator in an earth moving or water and sewer construction setting.
  • Knowledge and experience reading and understanding slope stakes, grade stakes etc.
  • Completing daily pre startup checklists.
  • Own transportation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willing to work away from home.
  • Willing to work 60+ hours per week.
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be willing to operate other types of equipment when required.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to assist in labour duties as required such as installing geotêxtiles, silt fence, culverts etc.
  • Possession of current safety tickets (first aid, TDG etc.) will be considered an asset. Please include copies of any certificates with resume.
  • Experience with Topcon GPS control will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to operate grader, dozer, scraper, loader and any other equipment will be considered an asset.

Salary:
$32.00-$38.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Weekend availability
